How to balance a washing machine
To balance a washing machine, you should first check to make sure it is level by adjusting the leveling legs on the washer or pedestal. You can also redistribute clothes that are bunched up in one area, so that all areas of the washing machine have roughly the same number of large and small items. Additionally, you can mix a quarter cup of baking soda with a quarter cup of water and pour the mixture into the machine’s detergent container to help balance it. If the machine is still unbalanced during a cycle, you can also manually stop the washer and redistribute the clothing for more balance.
