The standard size of a double kitchen sink is about 33 inches long by 22 inches wide. However, standard double kitchen sinks can be as long as 36 inches, and as wide as 48 inches, depending on the manufacturer. Double bowl sinks provide room for separate tasks such as washing and rinsing dishes, food preparation and cleanup. Most configurations balance their bowl sizes, but some double bowl sinks have one larger bowl and one smaller bowl.
